Now where was I .. yeah I came across a series of sites..and i would just like to give them a mention here. They piqued my interest because of the various references to “Old Singapore” and what has happened to these old land marks..
First is Good Morning Yesterday .. Its a site with loads of info on Old singapore.. and pictures of old newspaper clippings.. Discussions of where these places are now.. what has happened to them.. a very good read.. From there it led me to 2nd Shot which I found most informative too.. and i realise there is a slew of these “heritage blogs”.. and the more i read them .. the more i get pulled into our country’s history.. For all you history buffs..you should at least check em out.. An while you there .. bloghop to all their links.. very very nice … I just went through Times Of My Life

Every once in a while you come across an article online and as you read you can’t help but smile. Or maybe let out a little chuckle. so Picture this.
I’m sorting out some papers, and Al gives a web address. It was a blog address and well Al doesn’t usually read blogs. So I sense something was up. I go to the page and start reading as I was sorting out my paperwork..

you can’t help BUT laugh.. and I bet you.. you won’t just be laughing to yourself. Thing is most of his ramblings are so uniquely Singaporean. 1. Laughter and more laughter. Watching movie with the baby sis and her boyfriend. Good to see her happy. and with a nice guy no less.

Met Al yesterday. We went walkabout in search for the broken parts of the RS4 MT. Wish I had a camera yesterday, we took a long walk downfrom Arab Street to Victoria street, then back up to Sungei Road. For those of you NOT in the know , Sungei Road is like an unofficial flea market in Singapore. The vendors just have their wares out on canvas sheets and sell eveything and anything under the sun. Also went in search of L.E.D’s. Al had to wait outside while I got me head shorn. One thing bout chilling out with AL is that we laugh a lot. We laugh over the most mundane of things. I mean you might THINK we could be high on pot or something.(Then again if we were we wouldn’t be tellin you now would we?). Managed to get some work done on
JR(E-maxx)before we succumbed to the mighty X-box.
Ohh yeah .. came across this guy while surfing for cheap parts. He calls himself kid beyond.. But really.. take a listen and you’ll know why i think this guy is awesome.
