"..passing the torch.."
11 years ago , a mature female cat walked into my grandmothers house and surprised two siblings. She sat down alongside a little girl watching T.V while her big brother watched on. We guessed that the cat was about 2 years old. That cat, has since become a permanent resident in the house. She became affectionately known as Poochee. Now Poochee, back then, surprised us all not only walking into the house and setting herself next to Adik, but she also was somewhat litter trained. She would leave the house when she needed to “go”. She never left any fecal matter in the house. Cool huh? There was this one time when she felt threatened by the presence of 3 new kittens, she began catching mice and birds, and presented them proudly to my Grandma. Why am I talking about Poochee alluva sudden? Well to have one cat to take residence in home (without and invitation some more!) is hard enough. To have it happen twice, is quite something else.
This… is Kit.
Ngrryearrmmmm yum yumyum~~!
cute little thing isn’t she? Now like Poochee, she just waltzed into the house one day (well last Friday actually) and decided , “hey i think i’ll stay here”. We estimate Kit to be around 2 weeks to a month old. Kit, also appears to be toilet trained. This kitten will only p & p (poo and pee dhaaaaar)in the toilet. No kidding.

Kit dribbles the ball with great finesse
Then someone (don’t remember who), brought up the point that Poochee is nearing an estimated 14 years old. Now even though there are cases of cats living up to 20+ years, the average life span of a domestic feline is about 14-16 years. So could it be the the Almighty most merciful, has sent a replacement feline to my grandmother to replace the one he is taking away?

And Kit saves spectacularly!!!
