The wedding was a big whirlwind over two days.. The Solemnization was on Saturday 8th August 2009.. Diaz was also proudly a part of the festivities. She was handled by Dafi, Reets’ nephew, who took these pics..

Akad Nikah ... One shot One kill ah... Reets was a tad worried her Dad might fumble the words.

 After the Akad Nikah, the entourage returned to base.. and prepared for Bersanding. An outfit change later we made our way back to Reets’ place.

the part after this went by like a blur.. taking pictures with family and friends.. I could hardly remember who we took pictures WITH.. till much later when I went through to post process some 1000+ shots taken with Diaz.

“aaahhh it’s been a while..”

Yes it has .. so what has happened so far..

well.. I AM getting married exactly a month from today.. 

I avoided a court summons for my back taxes.. Luckily i went to IRAS to sort out undeclared income for 2007. Which resulted in a non-existent Notice of Assesment for 2008.. WHICH explains why I didn’t get any GST Credit Payouts this year.. so that’s settled.. for a mere nominal contribution of $75.00.. lucky me…

I got served .. yes.. no .. no more courts summons…. I got served notice.. that the company I have been working with for the past 8 years, will cease operations on 31st July.. *sigh*.. yeah I know.. bad timing innit..but what can I do.. ya? Had a few interviews already none bearing any fruit.. Yes I am anxious.. what with the wedding coming around..It could be a blessing in disguise.. Luckily this came around NOW.. i mean at least i have saved enough to cover wedding expenses ya know? If it had been earlier…. but after the wedding is another story ..*sigh*

moving on..

was bored last night.. needed to do something constructive.. so i recorded this..

yeah lah got bum notes and off key singing.. but hey.. had some fun too..

Two days… Two busloads (85 people).. 25 rooms (@the i-Hotel).. Two cameras (3 if you counted the video).. Two teams … two soccer matches (we lost the first and drew the second)… ONE BIG FAMILY OUTING..

That was what last weekend was about.. something put together at the very last minute (by regular standards).. Both Reets and I are now expired… wayy well past expired… Lucky Reets is on leave today.. we took about 8 gigs plus of pictures.. after sorting out the undesirables we are left with about 6 gb.  Reets was like a human dynamo. She was everywhere, organising the check ins.. taking pictures.. and keeping everything together..much props to her for that. Now comes the post processing..urgh…

on another note.. something I’m quite proud of.. even though it’s nothing to crow about.. i got the calendars printed.. and .. and yeah pretty proud of it..

poor Massa.. Lucky Alonso.. but he was unlucky during qualifiers when his high pressure fuel system shut down and qualified 15th on the grid…he was on track for at least a top ten and dare i say pole position.. anything could happen..
